OPEN LETTER TO MICROSOFT

OPEN LETTER TO MICROSOFT
I have always respected Microsoft and as a writer I use a Windows computer every day. Last year I bought a MAC. Initially, I was afraid of the MAC because of unfamiliarity but I am getting used to it and use it more often now. Unfortunately, there are some programs which are not yet written for the MAC and this limits use of them.
I have been very happy with my Windows XP. Last year I bought a smaller computer so I could travel and write without having to lug around a heavier Laptop and it came with Windows Vista. What piece of s*** Vista is. I never cease to be amazed at how and why Microsoft would replace XP with Vista. XP was so easy to operate. Vista is not an improvement at all. Unfortunately, when Microsoft comes out with a new operating system, it is put in all new computers and buyers have no choice but to buy it. I do know why these companies come up with a new and improved version of something which works just fine. It is to make money. All the software companies do the same thing. With each new version of Quickbook and similar software programs, the newer version is changed so little that I opt to update only every 5 or so years and not every time a new version is published.
A great advantage of the MAC is that it is not susceptible to worms and viruses. I believe this might be due to MAC afficionados writing viruses to attack Windows-based computers [sic]!
Just want to share my frustration in this Blog.

My advice is not to throw away your XP computer and resist buying a Vista based computer until you really have to.
